It’s crazy to believe, but we are less than a week away from the start of city convention balloting on Sunday, July 18th. As we get closer to the virtual convention, I wanted to ensure you were aware of how voting would occur.
City Convention Balloting–
A few notes on our upcoming online balloting process; Balloting takes place from July 18- 20. In the event we must go to a second ballot from the School Board race, that will take place July 21- 22.
1. We are using two ballots (one for Mayor/two-year School Board races, one for the four-year School Board race). Delegates will get two emails on Sunday morning, July 18th each with a link to their ballot.
2. The two emails will come from the St. Paul DFL with a return address “firstname.lastname@example.org.” The attached image is what delegates will see, minus the red box. If people are concerned about spam filters, you might consider marking anything with “electionrunner.com” as safe.
3. Subject lines will read “Your Invitation to Vote in the Election: St. Paul DFL Endorsement ballot (1 of 2): Mayor and Special School Board” and “Your Invitation to Vote in the Election: St. Paul DFL Endorsement ballot (2 of 2): School Board.”
